Oakland Zoo

We take pride in our support of local 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and schools. If your request is approved, your organization will receive a one day Fun 4-pack (value $115.00), good for two adults and two children to attend Oakland Zoo. Parking is included. Advance reservations are required at Oakland Zoo.

Donation requests are reviewed two weeks or more ahead of your nonprofit’s event date. The organization requesting the donation will be contacted by email, regardless of whether the request is approved. An organization may make a request no more than once per year and must be located within one of the following counties:

• Alameda

• Contra Costa

• Marin, Napa

• San Francisco

• San Mateo

• Santa Clara

• Santa Cruz

• Solano

• Sonoma

Applicants must fill out the request for the name of the school or nonprofit organization- Oakland Zoo will prioritize requests from organizations in the City of Oakland, as well as organizations related to Animal Welfare, K-12 education, and the Environment. We will not support organizations that are detrimental to a healthy planet or a diverse and inclusive society. Please do not use “PTA California Congress of Parents Teachers & Students Inc.”, which will result in an automatic denial of the request.

At this time, we are only reviewing requests for fundraising events taking place in 2026. Starting October 15, we will start accepting donation requests for fundraising events taking place in 2027.
